PMI-MASTER PRO - Fast and Reliable Mobile OES Metal Analysis

PMI-MASTER PRO
PMI-MASTER PRO

The PMI-MASTER PRO is a robust mobile optical emission spectrometer for the precise analysis and material identification of different metals. The measurement is performed by an "easy to handle" pistol. The material grade and chemical composition appears in only a few seconds on the integrated touch screen display. Depending upon the application, there are different operation modes for sorting, Grade ID or complete analysis of metals. With the PMI-MASTER PRO and the mini optic UV-PRO it is possible to analyse typical vacuum elements e.g. P, S, and B etc.

  • Perfect battery powered mobility
  • Fast on-site testing
  • Jet-Stream Technology for small samples
  • High performance carbon analysis
  • Even in the harshest conditions the instrument can be operated using  WINDOWS™windows based software via the rugged and dust protected TFT touch screen.

The PMI-MASTER PRO fulfils the high demand for meeting the diversity of classic elemental analysis in the field of on-site metal analysis. The precision of spark-excitation assures the tracing of low levels of carbon in steel (L-Grades).

The innovative design permits almost unlimited access and analysis in areas where mobility and flexibility are essential, e.g. where the material is already assembled or where industrial installations have to be assessed. Analysis of pipes, rods, valves, welding seams and joints, storage tanks, turbines all become straightforward with the PMI-MASTER PRO .

The PMI-MASTER PRO uses optical technology without compromise in element selection, concentration range, or the base metal to be checked. This is due to the use of CCD solid-state detectors, which cover the whole spectral range between 170-460nm. It is unimportant if C, Cr, Ni, Mn in steel is required or whether Si in Al has to be determined, all elements can be analysed in all metals.

Innovative electronics allow the use of a battery with an integrated rechargeable power pack. The instrument is therefore totally independent of mains power supply allowing its use in hard to access areas or locations distant from a nearby power source.
